Fable Special Edition

Ok so here I am a couple days after the release of fable 2. Lets just say that I haven't been able to play it yet but that is the plan for tomorrow.
Anyway. I get home from work yesterday and while I am getting ready for fire practice I look at my shelf and see the Fable 2 Special Edition box sitting there. The plastic from the wraping paper made the box gleaming and calliing out to me. So I figured that I would at least open the box, you know just to make sure that everything was there and in order. I opened the box and it was like a light shined out toward me. I was filled with happiness, but then as I looked away from the two disks to the game manual a shred of panic wedged in through my euphoria. The light faded away as I searched frantically for what was promised to me, but it was useless to search for what wasn't there. No code for an extra dungeon or an extra weapon, I mean I hadn't bought the special edition for the making of DVD. So with a heavy heart I left for fire practice determined to call microsoft and let them feel the anger that was burning deep down inside. |

Passing time at school.

Well I am sitting a school in the computer lab on my three hour break looking at all the hotties that walk by to check their facebook. I have done a bunch of surfing and now I am not to sure what to do. So I decided to make a blog and tell you what I think about my recently purchased game Too Human.
IT IS AWESOME!
Yeah you heard it from me. I haven't been able to put the damn controller down for two days. Besides during school of course. But I am completely addicted. It keeps the amount of time you play on the timer and on the first night I played for probably about 7 hours. Yeah I know I have a problem.
Anyway it starts off slow and not so great which is why I think a lot of people don't like the demo. But as soon as you get past level 8 or 10 things really ramp up. You start to get the hang of the combat and all the combos that you can do and everything just seems to be a bit more fluid. That's when it starts to get really fun.
Then there is the the loot system which is what has me addicted for the most part. I love it. Getting a new piece of gear every once in a while is really cool. Normally that would be alright and you guy would look like shit but in too human thats not the case. Sure some armor may be green when you pick it up but you can change the color of all armor pieces. That was totally awesome.
And lastly the story is really pretty engaging. It sucks me right in makes you want to play the game just to get to the next part of the story. Story is usually what keeps me in the game and Too Human did not disappoint.
There are however a couple issues that I have with the game. First the levels are really long. Like super long. Like Ultra super long. It's crazy. The only reason that that is a problem is because usually I feel that I need to play through to the end of a level. In a shooter or most other dungeon crawlers you can do that but not too human. Not by a long shot. And the other I noticed is that after level 20 there seems to be a lot less loot droping. I don't know if any of you other guys noticed that at all but I am finding that a little disappointing.
Anyway those are my thoughts so far. Now I just have to finish the game. lol |
