Once again you find yourself reading the random compilation of words slammed together by one of the Remnant council members in hopes of finding something somewhat useful or exciting. Well this time, the spotlight is far away from being put on our tiny existance in the interverse.
Halo 3:ODST and Halo: Reach is where all the attention is at. Halo 3: ODST, A campaign add on for Halo 3 where you play as an ODST that has crash landed in New Membosa Looks Awesome, to say the least. The new Weapons and detail in characters with the lighting effects they are using give the game what appears to be very cool settings and backdrops. Halo: Reach was just a teaser trailer where you didn't see much (don't want to give away any details) but sounds like its gonna be action packed. I have to say Thank-you Mondo Ian for bringing this stuff to our attention and Thank-you Bungie for being Bungie. Things here at The Remnants are slowing down. Summer is coming and people are looking past their xbox for entertainment (Such a thing is possible?). The Council members of the Remnants have decided to sign up for only one clan match and one clan meeting a month (if any at all) and let people enjoy the great out doors. I can't enjoy them as much as others, Heyfever sucks...

So today B.net has finally released gameplay footage of the long awaited Halo 3: ODST if you have not seen it yet its all over http://www.bungie.net
But on top of this welcome and exciting new comes news of a NEW Halo universe game slated for release in 2010 named Halo: Reach. Most of us I believe have read the book Fall of Reach. Will the game follow the story line? Is the game a FPS with Spartans? I do know the there is mention of Spartans, Sierra 259 to be exact... That all i could get out of the trailer anyone get anything else??? feel free to comment.
Hello to all! Welcome again to The Remnants homepage on the interverse and we hope you enjoy your stay. This past week was fairly quiet mostly due to the website being down. We do apologize for all those that were attempting to connect only to find a message saying, "Sorry, but you all suck!".... (Just Joking!) However it did say that it was not to be found. You see, here is the problem; we are currently doing a domain name change from c1nder.net to theremnantsclan.com and with our main webpager out of country (In Argentina, thats South America) its a slow process and a steep learning curve for those of use trying to figure it out (its acutally not extremely hard but when you get people who have not done it in years, through a frag grenade in the middle, you get the mess we are into...).
I, and all Remnants, would like to welcome Truth! (If you have been formaly introduced before, congrats! Your Special. But no gold star for you). We hope you enjoy your stay with us and have fun doing what we all love to do, PLAY HALO!
We here had a small meeting for the Remnants. If you are a Remnant member, it would be in your best interest to check out the notes in the appropriate section and add anything that you believe needs to be discussed. Also for Alpha Squad members, there is a change in the scheduling of practices, so be sure to check that outas well.
A couple of tournements are on the horizon for thos interested. Stop by the Halo division and see whats new in the form of said new tournes being hosted by other clans.
Our progress in the GGN is coming along nicely. The light at the end of the tunnel can be seen as a single star in a moonless night. A very Bright star. Needing only one more recommendation from another clan within the Good Gaming Network, our goal is fast approaching. We have a match in the works of being scheduled against WCF and details should be posted soon. Stay Tuned!
